Dai Kim Secondary School students apologize to teachers after inappropriate behavior

Regarding this incident, the People's Committee of Dinh Cong Ward said that on September 16, 2025, at 3:15 p.m. - before the school's break time, teacher Tran Thi Thu Ha, homeroom teacher of class 7A14 Dai Kim Secondary School, entered the classroom to remind the students. When entering the classroom, Ms. Ha saw the class monitor, TMT, holding a sharp toy, so she asked him to collect it.

Hearing that, the LGB student stood up and asked the teacher to return the toy to him. Ms. Ha did not return it but raised her hand high to keep it out of the LGB student's reach. The LGB student pulled the teacher's hair to take the toy back. When the incident happened, the class monitor tried to stop the LGB but failed.

Regarding the above incident, Ms. Ha reported to the Board of Directors. The Principal accompanied her to class, asked the LGB student to apologize to the teacher in front of the class, and asked the two students sitting below the LGB student to write a report on the incident.

Accordingly, the students said that at that time, the LGB friend was too excited and taller, so they could not stop him. The LGB student made a report. The family representative, Mr. LVL, LGB's father, went to the school, apologized to the teacher and asked for permission for the child to be absent from school on September 17, 2025, to go for a mental health check.

On the morning of September 18, 2025, the student's family took their child to class. Realizing their wrongdoing, LGB and his family once again admitted their mistake and apologized to the homeroom teacher. The family also wished to take their child back to education for 10 days so that the child could have time to rest, think, and change himself. The homeroom teacher agreed with the proposal of LGB's family.

The school's Board of Directors also met with Ms. Ha to encourage her spirit and learn from her experience in handling students who violate discipline. At the same time, they reminded all students in the school to absolutely not bring dangerous objects to school; when making mistakes, they must learn from their mistakes and have a proper and progressive attitude towards teachers.

Chairman of Dinh Cong Ward People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh said: "This is an unfortunate incident that happened in an educational environment - a place that should be a safe, dignified and humane space. The ward government and the Dinh Cong Ward Police force quickly intervened, closely coordinating with the school to protect the honor of teachers and the seriousness of the educational environment."

The People's Committee of Dinh Cong Ward also reported to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training and the city leaders to ask for guidance and to resolve the situation in a reasonable and emotional manner. At the same time, they assigned someone to do psychological work and encourage teacher Tran Thi Thu Ha and the school's teachers.
