The contest was organized by the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School, District 1.
At the contest, the contestants were asked to experience different corners with different contents. Specifically, finding documents and books to read and being able to record from real experiences related to the contents of Saigon cuisine - unforgettable impressions; History of my city; What do you know about the city's geography?; City architecture - the voice of lines; Saigon people - so much love; The city in literature.
At each experience corner, candidates will have their reading passport stamped to continue to the next experience corner.

Finally, the contestants officially entered the competition with the requirement to make a mini reading diary.
In which, students in grades 6-7 answered 2 questions: If you were asked to recommend the school to buy 3 more books for the library, which books would you recommend? Why would you recommend buying those books? Some of your classmates do not like reading. Do you have any ideas or plans to help students who do not like reading develop the habit of reading?

For grades 8-9, students answer the following questions: What are your dreams about your future career (or job)? What books are you reading now? What books will you read in the future, and why? According to Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the "Growing up with books" contest is held annually, this year is the 10th time.
The contest aims at the maturity of students through the reading process, the sustainable development of reading habits and reading skills. At the same time, it forms and develops self-study capacity, spreads the passion for reading and develops reading culture...
