On May 10, more than 600 students of 15 8th grade classes at Tan Phu Secondary School, Dong Xoai City, Binh Phuoc Province had to retake the second semester math test (2024-2025 school year) due to leaked test questions from the previous test.

On the evening of May 10, the leaders of Tan Phu Secondary School said that on the morning of May 8, more than 600 students of 15 classes of grade 8 of the school completed the second semester math test. After that, the school received information from the parents about the leaked exam papers from the evening of May 7.

"After the unfortunate incident, the school promptly informed parents and students; at the same time, announced the re-examination schedule and did this on the morning of May 10 to ensure fairness for all students in the school. At the same time, we hope that parents will share and sympathize with this unexpected incident," said the leader of Tan Phu Secondary School.

The leaders of Tan Phu Secondary School added that they are reviewing the printing and copying of the questions and have reported to the police to clarify the matter, in order to respond to parents as soon as possible.

Regarding the incident of students having to retake the exam due to leaked questions, many parents have asked the school to clearly explain the reason why the questions were leaked and what was the source?

Speaking with Thanh Nien reporters, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Xoai City said that he was aware of the incident and had asked Tan Phu Secondary School to report on the above exam leak incident, which resulted in more than 600 students having to retake the math exam.
