Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Sy Loc, Director of the Academy; comrades in the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Academy; Major General Nguyen Van Dong, Deputy Director of the Department of Militia and Self-Defense Forces, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.
The 133rd course of national defense and security knowledge training for subjects 2 included 39 students who are department, division, and institute level officials of central ministries, branches, and leaders of a number of universities and state-owned enterprises. After 21 days of study, the students completed the course in accordance with the program and content of Circular 172 dated December 30, 2020 of the Minister of National Defense , with 21 topics, training and practicing live ammunition shooting with K54 pistols, lesson 1; visiting and studying actual military and defense activities at the 86th Chemical Brigade, Chemical Corps; exchanging, discussing and writing reports to evaluate the results.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Sy Loc, Director of the Academy of Politics, emphasized that national defense and securityeducation is a major, strategic policy of the Party and State, and the responsibility of all levels, sectors, localities and the entire political system.
During the course, with the close and effective direction and coordination of the Steering Committee, agencies, faculty, and student management units, and the sense of responsibility and determination of the students, the course was completed on schedule and in accordance with the proposed content. "The course duration was not long, but the comrades studied and exchanged a large amount of knowledge at high intensity," Lieutenant General Dang Sy Loc affirmed. 100% of the learning results were good and excellent, including 24/39 students achieving excellent results (61.54%).

At the end of the course, Lieutenant General Dang Sy Loc expressed his confidence that "with the updated basic knowledge of national defense and security, along with rich practical experience and a high sense of responsibility, each officer will have important contributions to advising, proposing and organizing the implementation of tasks related to national defense and security in their agencies and units."
The Director of the Academy of Politics suggested that students "continue to study, thoroughly grasp and creatively apply the Party's viewpoints and policies on national defense and security into practice, closely combining socio-economic development with strengthening national defense, security and foreign affairs, and maintaining national independence and sovereignty."

Speaking on behalf of the students at the ceremony, Nguyen Cao Vien, the class leader of the National Defense and Security Knowledge Training Class for Subject 2, Course 133, said that through studying 21 theoretical topics, the students have deeply understood the viewpoints, policies, and guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State; basic contents of military theory and practice, national defense - security; military knowledge of some countries in the region and in the world.

Experiencing practical military operations, being trained and practicing shooting the K54 pistol, and doing practical research at the 86th Chemical Brigade, Chemical Corps helps students "see the hard work of studying, training, and combat readiness of soldiers, thereby, increasing their confidence in the combat strength of the Army, the defense and security potential of the country".

The process of studying and working at the Academy of Politics has "contributed to helping us further improve our knowledge, confidence, courage, and sense of responsibility for the task of building and protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland. On that basis, we know how to creatively and effectively apply it to advising, proposing, and directing the organization of defense and security activities of our agencies and units, meeting the requirements of the revolutionary cause in the new situation," said Mr. Nguyen Cao Vien.
