Academy of Journalism and Communication: Party Building Faculty received Third Class Labor Medal

On November 15, 2025, the Faculty of Party Building (Academy of Journalism and Communication) held a ceremony to celebrate its 50th anniversary (1975-2025) and receive the Third Class Labor Medal.

The anniversary is an occasion to summarize and commend the achievements of generations of cadres, lecturers, students, trainees and postgraduates of the Party Building Faculty over the past 50 years, arousing pride in the glorious tradition, thereby determining to strive to teach, research, study, train, work and contribute more to the cause of building and developing the Country in the new era.

Over 50 years of construction and development (1975-2025), the Party Building Department has always excellently completed all assigned tasks, making an important contribution to the development of the Academy of Journalism and Communication in the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics system.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Huong - Head of the Party Building Department said: "50 years ago, the Party Building Department was separated from the Party History Department, marking the beginning of a training and in-depth research unit on Party Building and State administration in the national education system. Over the past half century, the Department has made strong and proud developments, achieving many achievements in all aspects of work."

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Huong, Head of the Department of Party Building (Academy of Journalism and Communication) spoke at the ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the faculty's founding.

Since its inception with only 3 cadres and lecturers, the Faculty of Party Building has built a team of cadres and lecturers who are well-trained, specialized, solid in expertise, rich in practical experience and dedicated. The Faculty has trained over 10,000 university students in Party Building and State Administration, thousands of graduate students and researchers. Many students have become leading scientists , prestigious teachers, senior and key leaders of the Party, State and localities. The Faculty is also a place for many generations of cadres of Laos to study and cultivate knowledge.

With its steadfast contributions over the past 50 years, the Faculty of Party Building has achieved many emulation titles from the Academy of Journalism and Communication, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and many noble awards from the Party and the State. In recognition of the achievements and contributions of the faculty, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its founding, the Faculty of Party Building was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
