Academy of Finance promotes training cooperation for the benefit of learners

The event was attended by leaders and former leaders of the Academy, representatives of ministries and branches, nearly 200 domestic and foreign enterprises, economic groups, financial and banking organizations, and thousands of officers, lecturers and students of the Academy.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung - Director of the Academy of Finance said that the program took place in the atmosphere of the whole country towards the celebration of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day (October 13), further highlighting the spirit of companionship and solidarity between the School and the business community, affirming the role of strategic cooperation in training, research and development of high-quality human resources.

This is an important forum for the Academy and its partners to strengthen ties, promote cooperation in training, scientific research, technology transfer and create more career practice opportunities for students. The Academy also listens to the practical needs of businesses to adjust and update training programs, linking theory with practice, helping students confidently integrate into the labor market.

Associate Professor Dr. Ha Minh Son - Deputy Head of the Department of Political Affairs and Students said that the Academy has signed cooperation agreements with more than 200 domestic and international business organizations and partners. The agreements focus on supporting training and providing scholarships; organizing business tours for students; internship opportunities, post-graduation recruitment; coordinating the organization of seminars, academic events and other cooperation contents.

Every year, the Academy of Finance organizes a Recruitment Day to invite partners to interview and recruit students directly at the enterprise. The scale of the festival reaches hundreds of participating units. In addition, the Academy is ready to coordinate with units with recruitment needs to inform and organize separate recruitment sessions for partners.

The Academy has connected with businesses to take students on field trips to grasp the business operations, such as the tours of the Faculty of Business Administration to Viettel Group; students of the Faculty of Corporate Finance went on field trips to Honda Company, the Faculty of Taxation and Customs took students to tax agencies, etc.

Every year, there are billions of dong in cash scholarships and free courses and skills classes awarded to students. The Academy of Finance has coordinated with admission partners to deploy admission and serve distance learning university training at the Academy from 2022 to present, meeting the lifelong learning needs of society.

Welcoming nearly 6,000 full-time university students of the 63rd course, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung - Director of the Academy of Finance emphasized: The world is entering the digital age at a dizzying speed, artificial intelligence, Blockchain, Big data, Machine Learning are no longer distant concepts. They are reshaping the entire accounting and finance industry, creating unprecedented career opportunities and requiring completely new skills.

With the vision of becoming one of the top 5 multidisciplinary universities in Vietnam and top 100 in the world by 2045, the Academy is building a school worthy of its students' talents. The rate of 98.05% of students having jobs within one year of graduation, the highest in the country, is the result of the quality of training, the prestige accumulated over many generations and a commitment that, when they graduate, they will be ready to conquer any challenge.

New student Nguyen Thi Hang shared her feelings at the ceremony.

Being the valedictorian of the Accounting Faculty, Academy of Finance with a total score of 28 points in block A00, Nguyen Thi Hang (from Bich Hao commune, Nghe An) representing the new students expressed her joy and pride in choosing this as the destination for her 4 years of university study; at the same time, she expressed her determination to strive to get a scholarship and improve her English and IT skills to better meet future job requirements.

"I also want to actively participate in school and class union and club activities to learn more soft skills and build relationships. More importantly, I hope to be able to use the knowledge I have learned to support my hometown, especially small businesses in Nghe An in the future," Hang confided.
