Kim Bang Town Red Cross Society gives gifts to poor households, those in difficult circumstances, and victims of Agent Orange

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and in response to the "Humanitarian Month" in 2025, at the Cultural House of Thi Son Ward, the Red Cross Society (RCS) of Kim Bang town has just organized a gift-giving program for poor households, households in difficult circumstances, and victims of Agent Orange.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 23 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, supported money to buy wheelchairs for 8 disabled people, each worth 1,000,000 VND and presented 300 gifts, each worth more than 500,000 VND including gifts and cash to poor households, those in difficult circumstances, and those infected with Agent Orange in the town. The total cost of this gift giving was nearly 200 million VND, supported by the Provincial Red Cross Association, drawn from the town's Humanitarian Fund and mobilized from Venerable Tinh Duc - Abbot of Tue Quang Nunnery (Da Lat City), Venerable Dieu Thao - Abbot of But Phong Pagoda, Lien Son Commune.
