With the spirit of "Three readiness", the Youth Volunteer Force against the US to save the country in the North was present on all battle routes, fighting enthusiastically, ensuring smooth traffic "blood vessels" in all situations, contributing to defeating the US imperialists, liberating the South, and unifying the country. Cultural performance to welcome the anniversary meeting.
During the resistance war against the US to save the country, Phu Tho had nearly 6,000 Youth Volunteers participating in the transportation fronts, repairing and protecting key points, bridges and ferries, and transporting weapons and goods to support the front line. After the victory on April 30, 1975, the former Youth Volunteers of the Land of the Ancestors successfully completed the tasks assigned by the Party and the Fatherland. Youth Volunteer Team 253 was honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the State. Many collectives and hundreds of individuals with outstanding achievements in performing international missions in Laos were awarded the First, Second and Third Class Labor Medals by the State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
On this occasion, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers presented 13 gifts to outstanding members with achievements in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
