Lang Son Women's Union supports more than 1,400 members and women to start businesses

Implementing practical and effective activities to help women have conditions to start a business, the Project "Supporting women to start a business in the period of 2017 - 2025" in Lang Son province has created motivation for many female members and women to start a business and do business, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.

According to Ms. Nong Thanh Hai, President of the Women's Union of Lang Son province, in recent years, the Women's Union of Lang Son province has launched and deployed the Project to all levels of the union and implemented it effectively, attracting a large number of members and women to participate.

Through many specific and practical actions, Women's Unions at all levels have promoted their role as a bridge, encouragement and motivation to arouse the proactive and creative spirit of members in production and labor, thereby helping many women escape poverty, become typical examples in economic development and actively participate in social security work in the locality.

Implementing the Project "Supporting women to start a business in the period of 2017 - 2025", the Women's Union of Lang Son province has launched it to all levels of the union and implemented it effectively, attracting a large number of members and women to participate.

Lang Son Provincial Women's Union at all levels has many activities to support women in starting businesses.

Specifically, from 2017 to present, the Women's Union at all levels in the province has organized many propaganda activities, training, seminars, forums on start-ups, innovation in business, support for the establishment of cooperatives and cooperative groups led by women... The activities have initially had positive results such as: the Women's Union at all levels in the province has supported 1,410 women members to start businesses and start businesses; supported the establishment of 102 cooperative groups and 28 cooperatives; 100% of cooperative groups, cooperatives, new enterprises established and run by women have been supported with establishment procedures, capital, knowledge...

Many projects were highly appreciated and awarded at the final round of the National Women's Entrepreneurship Competition, such as: Project "Developing the value chain of organic wind-dried rose hips to create jobs and sustainable livelihoods for Tay and Nung ethnic women in the border area of ​​Lang Son"; Project "Building a value chain of star anise and medicinal herbs under the star anise forest canopy from indigenous resources associated with the livelihoods of ethnic minority women in Tan Van commune, Binh Gia district, Lang Son province"; Project on raising microbial herbal chickens under the star anise canopy; Project on Silk Vy fish mint tea...

Along with that, the Women's Union of Lang Son province has implemented activities to evaluate, select, and support over 50 startup ideas and cooperatives owned by women to borrow, with a total capital of nearly 6 billion VND.

Practical and effective support from all levels of the Association has motivated members and women in the province to boldly and confidently start businesses, build brands, and find outlets for their products.
