Emulation cluster No. 1 includes the Women's Union of the communes: Tan Hong, Tan Thanh, Tan Ho Co, An Phuoc, Thuong Phuoc, Long Khanh, Long Phu Thuan, An Hoa, Tam Nong, Phu Tho , Tram Chim, Phu Cuong, An Long and the wards: An Binh, Hong Ngu, Thuong Lac.
At the meeting, delegates shared experiences in the work of the Association, introducing many effective models, such as: "Goat raising model", "Traditional vegetable growing", "Border women"...; these are models that have contributed to creating livelihoods, increasing income and spreading the spirit of responsibility and solidarity in the community, both supporting economic development and accompanying women in building prosperous and happy families.
In addition, delegates pointed out some difficulties in the Association's work after merging commune-level administrative units, such as: The implementation of movements and maintenance of Association activities still have many limitations; the Association's grassroots organizations in some places have not been fully established, lacking core staff; many members are not familiar with the new model, are hesitant, and are not really attached to Association activities.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Thai Ngoc Bao Tram, Provincial Party Committee member, President of the Women's Union of Dong Thap province highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and efforts of the Women's Unions of communes and wards in Emulation Cluster No. 1.
Comrade Thai Ngoc Bao Tram emphasized: “In the context of post-merger expansion, the organization's scale has expanded, and the tasks have posed many challenges, the Women's Union at all levels needs to focus on perfecting the organizational structure, building a team of Association officials with capacity, enthusiasm and commitment to the women's movement. Along with that, proactively innovate the content and methods of operation, aiming at the practical needs of members, especially women in difficult circumstances."
Comrade Thai Ngoc Bao Tram requested that the Women's Unions of communes and wards in Emulation Cluster No. 1 should strengthen capital support and mobilize social resources, creating conditions for women to develop appropriate economic models. In particular, effectively promoting the model "Border Women", aiming to develop household economy, contributing to maintaining security, order and solidarity in border areas.
