The first conference of the Party Executive Committee of the Party agencies of Quang Tri province, term 2020

This afternoon, February 27, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Party agencies of Quang Tri province held the first meeting of the Party Executive Committee (EC) for the 2020-2025 term to review and decide on a number of contents under its authority. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee Nguyen Dang Quang; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Phan Van Phung; Full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Do Thi Ly attended the meeting.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee Nguyen Dang Quang highlighted each content proposed by the conference, especially new contents related to agencies and units after implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus according to Resolution No. 18 of the 12th Party Central Committee "a number of issues on continuing to innovate and arrange the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient"; and most recently, Regulation No. 232-QD/TW on the implementation of the Party Charter, Conclusion No. 126 dated February 14, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on a number of contents and tasks to continue arranging and streamlining the apparatus of the political system in 2025.

Thereby, requesting the Party Executive Committees of provincial Party agencies, branches and affiliated Party Committees to closely follow Directive No. 35 dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; Conclusion No. 118 dated January 18, 2025 of the Politburo on adjusting and supplementing a number of contents of Directive No. 35 of the Politburo, as well as regulations and instructions of the central government, the province and the Party Committees of provincial Party agencies to successfully organize branch and Party Congresses for the 2025-2030 term of their agencies and units.

Along with that, the Party Committees of the provincial Party agencies closely follow their functions and tasks and are responsible for advising the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee and the entire political system in the province to implement the province's GDP growth target of 8% in 2025 in accordance with the spirit of the Government's resolution; on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo.

Based on the directive speech of the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Dang Quang and the suggestions and instructions of the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Phan Van Phung on the preparation and organization of congresses of branches and Party committees, the conference discussed, considered and decided on the contents within its authority, including: Working regulations of the Party Committees of the Provincial Party Committees; Decision to establish specialized agencies to advise and assist the Party Committees of the Provincial Party Committees.
