Crab farming is carried out with a variety of models: improved extensive farming combined with value-added crab farming, intensive/semi-intensive farming, crab farming in plastic boxes using high technology... to meet the goal of developing green and sustainable aquaculture.
Currently, crab farmers have focused on building a production-consumption linkage model with businesses; aiming at sustainable development for this potential and promising industry. Ca Mau crab has built a collective brand, geographical indication with outstanding quality.
