Conference approved the plan to adjust administrative units of Son La city

On April 4, comrade Ha Trung Chien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council chaired the City Party Executive Committee meeting to approve the plan to adjust administrative units.

At the conference, the Secretary of the City Party Committee thoroughly grasped and disseminated the directives of the Politburo , the Secretariat and implemented the direction of the province, the general principles and some specific principles of arranging commune-level administrative units in the locality to ensure the implementation of the Central's direction in accordance with reality. The arrangement work ensures that the new grassroots government must be close to the people, closely follow the people and serve the people best; promote potentials, advantages and promote decentralization, delegation of power, enhance autonomy and self-responsibility of local governments. In the immediate future, the organization of the payroll apparatus must be arranged appropriately, not exceeding the old total payroll and have a roadmap to gradually reduce it within 5 years.

At the conference, the leaders of the Urban Management Department reported on the proposal for the second arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the city to seek opinions from delegates. Accordingly, this arrangement of administrative units is based on the Politburo's Conclusions on the arrangement and reorganization of administrative units at all levels and the construction of a 2-level local government organization model; based on the general planning and zoning planning; the current contiguity of commune-level administrative units, socio -economic, cultural, inter-regional traffic connection conditions, promoting advantages, creating space to promote socio-economic development, urban development, ensuring national defense and security.

With the spirit of "Running and queuing at the same time", localities and units of the city continue to widely propagate the policies, viewpoints, tasks and solutions of the Central Government and the province to create high consensus and unity in the entire political system and all classes of people on the implementation of administrative unit arrangement and building a 2-level local government organization model. At the same time, well handle the regime and policies for district-level cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers; commune-level cadres and civil servants..../.
