Quang Tri Ancient Citadel - the heroic land that has gone down in national history with 81 days and nights of steadfast fighting in the fiery summer of 1972 - is a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism.
The 81-day and night battle of the Ancient Citadel contributed significantly to the results of the Paris Agreement negotiations in 1973, creating the premise for the victory in 1975, liberating the South and unifying the country.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs. Before the souls of the outstanding sons who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, the delegation vowed to continue the tradition and strive to fulfill the assigned political tasks, worthy of the sacrifices of previous generations.
Next, the delegation also visited the Memorial Site of General Secretary Le Duan in Trieu Phong commune, Quang Tri province.

In this gratitude journey, Nghe An Journalists Association coordinated with Hoang Gia Phat Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company to present gifts worth 25 million VND to 25 families of war invalids and martyrs in difficult circumstances in Hieu Giang commune, Quang Tri province. The activity demonstrates the ethics of "remembering the source of water" and "repaying gratitude" of the Journalists Association and journalists of Nghe An province.

The program "Returning to the Source" not only reviews the revolutionary tradition and pays tribute to heroic martyrs, but also spreads the spirit of humanity and social responsibility of journalists, while strengthening the affection and connection between the Nghe An Journalists Association and the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association.
