Red River Delta Pediatrics Association 2025 improves the quality of children's health care

The Red River Delta Pediatrics Association 2025 has attracted many doctors and medical experts. The conference contributes to the development of Vietnamese Pediatrics and improves professional capacity at the grassroots level. Participate to update the latest knowledge in the field of Pediatrics.

On November 15, the 2025 Red River Delta Pediatric Conference took place in Hai Phong city. This is an annual scientific event organized by the Vietnam Pediatric Association in collaboration with Hai Phong Children's Hospital, Thai Binh Children's Hospital and other units in the region to share experiences, update knowledge and promote cooperation in the field of Pediatrics.

Attending the Conference were Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Minh Dien, President of the Vietnam Pediatric Association, Director of the National Children's Hospital; Professor, Dr. Nguyen Gia Khanh, Honorary President of the Vietnam Pediatric Association; representatives of the Hai Phong Department of Health ; Hai Phong Children's Hospital; Pediatric Association of the Red River Delta, Thai Binh Children's Hospital; representatives of the Department of Health of neighboring provinces; the Vietnam Pediatric Association and domestic and foreign experts.

The 2025 Red River Delta Pediatric Conference attracted hundreds of students who are doctors and medical staff, to share experiences, update knowledge and promote cooperation in the field of pediatrics.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Minh Dien, President of the Vietnam Pediatric Association and Director of the National Children's Hospital, emphasized: "The Conference is not only a forum for colleagues to meet, exchange experiences and update scientific progress, but also an opportunity to orient the development of Vietnamese pediatrics in the new period.

The goal of the Conference is to improve professional capacity at the grassroots and provincial levels. Apply personalized medicine and digital transformation in diagnosis and treatment. Expand international cooperation in training, research and clinical practice, towards comprehensive and sustainable care for Vietnamese children.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Minh Dien, Director of the National Children's Hospital, Chairman of the Vietnam Pediatric Association delivered the opening speech at the conference.

At the Conference, doctors, officers and medical staff in the Pediatrics sector had the opportunity to share and update many important professional knowledge by experts. Specifically, students were taught about the current situation and challenges of chronic disease management at the provincial level; health determinants; access, diagnosis and treatment of hydrops fetalis; genes and precision medicine in the treatment of cardiomyopathy and ion channel disease; Niservimab - a new era in RVS prevention for all infants; the burden of meningococcal disease in Vietnam...

The conference was held over two days, November 14 and 15.

Deputy Director of Hai Phong Department of Health Phan Huy Thuc highly appreciated the dedication and contributions of the team of doctors and pediatric experts in child health care.

The Deputy Director of Hai Phong Department of Health affirmed that hosting the Conference is a valuable opportunity for the city's medical staff to directly listen, learn and update the latest knowledge, techniques and treatment regimens from leading experts. The enthusiastic scientific reports and lively discussions will open up many new directions, helping the health sector to overcome difficulties and challenges in clinical practice.
