The Provincial and Local Farmers' Association handed over a house and presented gifts to the family of Ms. Pham Thi Ghe, My An commune (Thanh Phu district).
Attending the event were Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association Nguyen Van Ban, Secretary of Cho Lach District Party Committee - Head of the Steering Committee for the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses Dang Van Thanh, representatives of the Farmers' Association of Thanh Phu and Cho Lach districts and local communes that handed over the houses.
Accordingly, the first house was given to Mrs. Pham Thi Ghe's household, residing in Thanh My hamlet, My An commune (Thanh Phu district), worth 78 million VND, of which, the Provincial Farmers' Association mobilized Bay An animal feed dealer to sponsor 50 million VND, Farmers' Associations at all levels supported 10 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.
The second house was given to Mr. Phan Minh Tri's family, Qui Hoa hamlet, Hoa Loi commune (Thanh Phu district), the construction cost was 75 million VND, of which the Provincial Farmers' Association mobilized Ms. Sen Tran and Ms. Nhan from Ho Chi Minh City to support 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.
The Provincial and Local Farmers' Association handed over a house and presented gifts to Mr. Le Van Hung's family in Vinh Hoa commune (Cho Lach district).
The third house was given to Mr. Le Van Hung, residing in Phu Quoi hamlet, Vinh Hoa commune (Cho Lach district), with a total cost of 80 million VND, of which, Saigon Tobacco Company Limited sponsored 50 million VND, Farmers' Associations at all levels supported 10 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.
On this occasion, the Provincial and District Farmers' Associations and local authorities presented souvenirs on the day of house handover to the households receiving the houses.
It is known that up to now, the entire Association system has mobilized and implemented 15 houses, including Thanh Phu: 2 houses, Cho Lach: 5 houses, Mo Cay Nam: 3 houses, Binh Dai: 2 houses, Chau Thanh: 1 house and Mo Cay Bac: 2 houses. Currently, 10 houses have been completed and handed over, 5 houses are under construction.
According to the assessment of the Provincial Farmers' Association Standing Committee, the program was launched to spread the spirit of "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" to each member and farmer in the province. Farmers' Associations in districts and cities all launched and mobilized local farmers' members, businesses, and benefactors inside and outside the province to actively contribute funds and materials to implement the program.
