Bac Ruong Commune Farmers' Association has 950 households achieving the title of good production and business at all levels.

On October 24, the Farmers' Association of Bac Ruong commune (Lam Dong) held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending the Congress were comrade Nguyen Duc Han, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Farmers' Association and many delegates representing farmer members.

During the last term, the Farmers' Association of Bac Ruong commune admitted 126 members, bringing the total number of members in the commune to 2,915 people/4,702 farmers, reaching a gathering rate of 62%. The whole commune currently has 14 branches (12 village farmers' branches, 2 professional branches) and 71 association groups.

The Commune Farmers' Association has guided its branches and groups to develop an operating model based on the criteria of "5 self, 5 together": same field of labor, production, business, and service; same concern; same sharing; same responsibility and same benefit. Thereby, attracting a large number of farmers to participate, creating a close bond between members and the association. Every year, 100% of the farmers' associations achieve the title of good and strong.

The branches and associations have proactively implemented the Project on restructuring the agricultural sector towards improving product value chains, prioritizing the development of VietGAP and organic agricultural production and improved rice production methods (SRI).

The total annual cultivated area increased by 3.8% compared to the beginning of the term; food output from 43,200 tons (in 2020) to 46,300 tons (in 2025), an increase of 7%. The rate of mechanization in agricultural production reached about 90%. The whole commune currently has 950 good farming and business households at all levels, including 3 households at the central level, 45 households at the provincial level and 902 households at the communal level; 3 products were recognized as 3-star OCOP. Average income per capita reached 55.7 million VND/year, an increase of 13.6 million VND compared to the beginning of the term.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Cooperation - Development", for the 2025 - 2030 term, the Congress determined the key task to promote the role of farmers as the main subject, build a strong Association, worthy of being the core center in the farmers' movement and building new rural areas, contributing to consolidating the great national unity bloc. The Congress set out 12 specific targets, in which it strives for over 90% of the branches and Commune Farmers' Associations to achieve the title of strong; develop 180 - 200 more members, raising the rate of farmer households with members to 95%.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee and Standing Committee of the Farmers' Association of the commune, term I; and appointed comrade Cap Kim Thanh to hold the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Bac Ruong commune for the 2025-2030 term.
