Opening the conference, Mr. Trinh Hoa Binh , Chairman of the Trinh Family Council of Vietnam, delivered the opening speech: “The conference is an opportunity to honor the Trinh family - a family with a rich tradition of patriotism, making an important contribution to the historical process of the nation. The three glorious centuries of the Trinh family have laid the foundation for a prosperous nation, bearing the mark of the times. The event also aims to foster and spread the good values ​​that our ancestors left behind: loyalty, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom, and filial piety.”

The scientific conference “The Trinh family in the historical process of Vietnam” received 70 papers from scientists and intellectuals with many different topics; among them, 18 typical papers were selected to be presented and discussed at the conference. The most prominent was the paper by Mr. Trinh Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of the Trinh family council of Hai Phong city with the topic “The three great kings Trinh Tham and Trinh Mon in the time of the 18th Hung King”.

In the speech "Duyen Chau - Tran Le and Trinh families", Dr. Le Van Nho - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Council of Danang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy emphasized that the harmony between the two families Le - Trinh not only has bloodline meaning but also has cultural and historical value of more than 400 years.

Lieutenant General Le Phuc Nguyen, former Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper and Chairman of the Le Family Council of Vietnam, reported that he recommended that authorities at all levels should soon intervene to assess the value and invest in renovating and restoring Trinh family relics in Thuy Chu.
