Over four days, more than 160 trainees from agencies and units under the General Staff focused on studying the basic contents of the Party and State's views on national defense and security strategy in the new era; integrating economics and foreign relations with national defense and security; understanding the basic principles of Party leadership and State management of national defense and security tasks in the context of international integration and accelerated industrialization and modernization; and new requirements for implementing the two strategic tasks of building and defending the Fatherland... as a basis for application in advising and organizing implementation in their assigned positions and responsibilities, in accordance with the actual situation of their units.

In his opening remarks at the training course, Colonel Nguyen Van Dai requested the Organizing Committee to effectively implement the planned content and programs; strictly maintain regulations and procedures; organize thorough and serious inspections and evaluations of results, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects. He also requested that the lecturers promptly update and supplement new content relevant to national defense and security work in their respective agencies and units.
Colonel Nguyen Van Dai urged the trainees to actively and proactively study and research; to exchange and clarify theoretical and practical issues, as well as the Party's viewpoints, policies, and guidelines on national defense and security. Through this, they should unify their understanding, uphold a sense of responsibility, and resolutely fight to thwart all schemes and tactics of hostile forces; contributing to building strong and comprehensive agencies and units.
