More than 1,000 artists and singers attend the art program "A Country Full of Joy"

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the evening of April 20, at the Thong Nhat Hall (Ho Chi Minh City), the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense directed the organization of the art program "The Country is Full of Joy" broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television and rebroadcast on television channels nationwide.

Attending the Program were leaders and former leaders of the Party and State; leaders and former leaders of the Ministry of National Defense; veteran revolutionary cadres, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor; leaders of central departments, ministries and branches and Ho Chi Minh City.

The large-scale art program “The Country is Full of Joy” recreates the heroic historical periods of our nation, affirms the great stature of the Great Victory of Spring 1975, highlights the leadership role of the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the brave fighting spirit of our army and people, the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign. Thereby, it arouses patriotism, national pride and the aspiration to develop the country in the new era.

With a heroic melody, proudly depicting the noble image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" - the Suite "That soldier" performed by the collective of artists and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army was elaborately and impressively constructed, opening the Art Program "A Country Full of Joy."

The art program includes: Chapter 1 - Desire for unification, an emotional journey to remember the days of division, when the whole country went to war with a series of songs such as: "Cau ho ben Hien Luong wharf," dance "Dong Khoi," "Bai ca hy hop," "Tien dinh Truong Son ta hat," "Vam co Dong"; dance "Dat dat steel thanh dong," "Dat nuoc," medley "Dat nuoc viet nam viet - Spring in Ho Chi Minh City."

Coming to the art space of Chapter 2 - Aspiration to rise up, expressing the spirit of unity and solidarity to carry out comprehensive innovation; joining hands to build and protect the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland in the era of independence and development.

After 50 years, our country has made great strides in all fields. That achievement is thanks to the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army promoting the good qualities of the nation, turning the spirit of April into belief and motivation to move forward together.

The aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country is a realistic aspiration, formed and nurtured on a scientific basis, associated with the building and promotion of the national value system and the strength of the Vietnamese people in the new era.

Continuing to immerse ourselves in the proud melodies, the melodies of a peaceful and renewed country, the melodies carrying the ambitions of the entire nation in the new era, in Chapter 3 - The desire for power such as the medley "Forgetting oneself for the people - Truong Sa military song", "Still loyal to one belief", the medley "The color of the soldier's shirt - My daughter has become a soldier - The Party's words calling to the heart", "Young city", "Melody of the Fatherland", "The vast new road".

The performance includes genres of singing, dancing, music, theater, live performance, etc. with more than 1,000 artists, singers, actors from art troupes of military regions 1, 2, 5, 7, 9, Border Guard, Air Defense - Air Force and gathers many famous artists such as People's Artist Thanh Thuy, singers Cam Van, Tung Duong, Vu Thang Loi, Do To Hoa... /.
