- On November 18 and 19, the Department of Finance coordinated with the Department of Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance to organize a training conference on general inventory of public assets and use of general inventory software for more than 1,200 delegates including officials and civil servants who are members of the steering committee for general inventory of public assets; civil servants directly performing asset management at agencies, organizations, units and managing infrastructure assets under the management of the province.
On March 1, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 213/QD-TTg approving the Project on General inventory of public assets at agencies, organizations, units, and infrastructure assets invested and managed by the State.
Accordingly, the general inventory of public assets must be carried out synchronously and uniformly nationwide. The specific objectives are to complete the preparation work for the general inventory of public assets at agencies by December 31, 2024; to complete the general inventory by March 31, 2025; to complete the synthesis of inventory results and develop a summary report on public assets at agencies, organizations, units, and infrastructure assets invested and managed by the State nationwide by July 1, 2025.
At the training conference, delegates listened to the reporter from the Department of Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance, deploy instructions on the general inventory work, declaration of general inventory forms of public assets; how to declare information of inventory units; how to declare inventory indicators; determine the value of fixed assets at agencies, organizations, and units that have not been monitored in accounting books; how to enter data, approve data on the general inventory software, ensuring that the general inventory of public assets is carried out smoothly and in accordance with regulations... At the same time, answer questions and problems related to the general inventory work.
Through the conference, it helps officials and civil servants understand the procedures and processes of inventory; how to use the software for general inventory of public assets of the Ministry of Finance, data entry, inventory record making, data synthesis, reporting, and report approval. Thereby, effectively implementing the inventory of public assets at their agencies, organizations and units in the coming time.
