The 2025 high school graduation mock exam will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on May 27 and 28.

Each school is a trial high school graduation exam site.

Accordingly, each high school is a testing site. More than 100,000 12th graders at high schools and vocational and continuingeducation centers will participate in this mock test.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requires educational institutions to establish examination sites according to regulations, including: site manager, deputy site managers, secretary, supervisor, service, health and order, and police (if necessary).

High schools will create their own exam questions. The exam question creation process must follow the exam structure and exam matrix announced by the Ministry of Education and Training. The printing and copying of exam questions must ensure safety and confidentiality. Each exam bag contains 24 essay exam questions or 24 multiple-choice exam questions, which are tightly closed and sealed.

Regarding the arrangement of examination rooms, the department requires that candidates' examination rooms be arranged according to their chosen exam, each examination room has a maximum of 24 candidates and must ensure a minimum distance of 1.2 meters between two candidates sitting next to each other horizontally.

The exam room numbers of each examination council are numbered in ascending order. Each exam room must have a list of candidates in the room and a test collection form (4 test collection forms for candidates taking all 4 subjects registered for the exam).

Although it is a mock exam, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training requires units to strictly follow the regulations as in the real exam. For example, the arrangement of exam rooms must be carried out according to the following principles: arrange candidates to take the optional exam first, then apply it to literature and math; give priority to candidates taking the same subject with consecutive numbers; in one exam session there must be at least one exam subject, no more than 3 exams in one session; each candidate takes the exam in only one exam room...

Rehearsal for students and staff

According to Tuoi Tre Online , on the morning of May 27, schools conducted mock exams similar to the real exams. Specifically, the arrangement of exam rooms, candidates, invigilators, etc.

In particular, all testing locations have a place to store candidates' belongings (personal items and documents are not allowed in the testing room), ensuring a minimum distance of 25 meters from the storage place to the testing room.

In addition, members of the examination board are not allowed to bring information receiving and transmitting devices; are not allowed to smoke; are not allowed to arbitrarily handle arising situations...

"All procedures are carried out by the school in accordance with the high school graduation exam regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training . However, we also clearly tell the students that this is a rehearsal for them, the exam invigilators, and management staff to prepare well for the 2025 high school graduation exam. Therefore, everything is carried out in the best and most serious manner but without pressure," said a high school leader.

The 2025 High School Graduation Exam is the first exam under the 2018 General Education Program.
