More than 118 thousand tourists came to the province during the holiday

During the holiday from April 30 to May 4, 2025, the total number of tourists is estimated at 118,564, an increase of 10% over the same period (2024: 107,785); of which, international visitors are estimated at about 28,594, an increase of 20% over the same period (2024: 23,828).

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025), tourism businesses have organized many rich and exciting programs and activities to serve and attract a large number of people and tourists to participate, experience, eat and shop during this holiday. Thereby, contributing to communicating, introducing and promoting tourism and cuisine of the Coconut Land to people and tourists at home and abroad.

During the holiday from April 30 to May 4, 2025, the total number of tourists is estimated at 118,564, an increase of 10% over the same period (2024: 107,785); of which, international visitors are estimated at about 28,594, an increase of 20% over the same period (2024: 23,828). Total revenue from tourists is over 147 billion VND, an increase of 26% over the same period. The average room occupancy rate of accommodation establishments is from 70 - 90%. Room rates are stable, at the listed price.

State management of tourism has received attention. Functional sectors and localities have coordinated and increased patrolling and control during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, so security, order and safety for tourists have been well ensured.

Tourist services during the holidays are of interest to localities, businesses, and tourism establishments, and are proactively directed and implemented early, ensuring the quality of services for tourists. Some travel agencies and community tourism destinations have launched and offered new tours such as: tours associated with environmental protection, tree planting, tours to visit red addresses, etc.
