On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Finance Sector, the Ministry of Finance launched the 8th National Journalism Competition on the Finance Sector in 2023. After launching, the competition attracted the attention of many reporters, journalists, economic experts, and readers who submitted entries.

The number of entries for this year's competition reached a high number: 2005 works, covering all four types of journalism such as print, radio, television, and electronic, and at the same time, a wide variety of journalism genres such as reportage, interviews, notes, investigations, etc.
Up to now, the judging process has been completed through 3 rounds of basic, preliminary and final selection from more than 2,000 press works and has selected typical press works on the Finance sector.
As a result, the Final Jury analyzed and thoroughly and comprehensively evaluated the nominated press works and unanimously ranked and agreed to organize the award ceremony on August 28, 2023 in Hanoi (Ministry of Finance Headquarters, 28 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).
Through the contest, the entries have honored and clarified the results and achievements in financial and budgetary work; affirmed the role of the Finance sector in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; and at the same time proposed practical and effective solutions to contribute to building a strong national Finance.
The Organizing Committee will award individual and collective prizes, specifically: Individual awards include: 4 A prizes; 16 B prizes, 21 C prizes (in addition to cash prizes, winners also receive a Certificate of Award). Collective awards, including: 10 awards, each worth 10 million VND and Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Finance for 10 press agencies with many good quality entries. |
