According to Mr. Phong, the school had recorded and received information from the parents and had sent a report to the Health Department, the Health Center, and the Education and Training Department of District 7 to ask for instructions on how to handle the situation.

The report of Vo Thi Sau Primary School sent to the authorities mentioned that on the evening of April 9, at around 6:49 p.m., Ms. LTMH, the representative board of parents of class 3/2 (also the deputy representative board of parents of the school) informed about the incident where parents of students in classes 3/3, 3/4, and 3/5 reported that some children had stomachaches and vomited.

This morning, April 10, the school's medical department counted and heard reports from homeroom teachers of the upper classes: 21 students were absent from school due to stomachaches, vomiting, and some had diarrhea since the night of April 9. Of these, 7 students went to the hospital and were examined, sent home for care and monitoring. Currently, the situation of the 21 children is more stable.

In addition, class 3/6 just reported that a student vomited when coming home, this morning (April 10) went to the doctor and was hospitalized for observation.

Vo Thi Sau Primary School uses industrial catering to serve meals for boarding students. The school has requested the medical department to keep the food samples sealed on April 9.
