More than 200 ceramic artifacts on display at the Bien Hoa Ceramics Hundred Years Exhibition

(DN) - On the afternoon of April 27, at Dong Nai Provincial Museum, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH-TTDL) opened the special exhibition "One Hundred Years of Bien Hoa Pottery" with more than 200 artifacts and works of Bien Hoa pottery.

Attending and visiting the exhibition area were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung and leaders of a number of departments, branches, businesses, artisans, and ceramic collectors in the province.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan said that the Bien Hoa ceramic exhibition is part of the series of events of the Dong Nai Ceramics - Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025, which is being held for the first time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

As part of the series of events of the Ceramics - Hot Air Balloon Festival, the Bien Hoa Ceramics Hundred Years Exhibition is an opportunity for locals and tourists to visit and learn about the traditional ceramic craft of Bien Hoa.

Accordingly, the exhibition outlined the flow of pottery on Dong Nai land from ancient times, and at the same time introduced more than 200 unique fine art ceramic artifacts with high aesthetic value of Bien Hoa pottery with the characteristic blooming bronze green glaze color.

The exhibition will contribute to promoting the ceramic industry and traditional culture of Bien Hoa - Dong Nai to contribute to tourism development associated with preserving local cultural heritage.
