From early morning, long lines of locals and international tourists queued to visit President Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum. Present at Ba Dinh Square since 5 am on September 2nd, Ms. Lan Anh (from Tuyen Quang) said that her family had arrived in Hanoi on the evening of September 1st so they could all attend the flag-raising ceremony and queue to visit the mausoleum. The children were very excited, believing that visiting the mausoleum would motivate them to study harder.

Despite the higher number of visitors compared to normal days, the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum directed close coordination among forces within the Management Board, the Hanoi City Police, and other agencies, units, and local authorities to create favorable conditions for people and international tourists to visit the Mausoleum conveniently and safely.

On September 2nd, the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, in coordination with the Hanoi Department of Tourism, organized the free distribution of drinking water, milk, and pastries to the people and international visitors coming to the Mausoleum to pay their respects to President Ho Chi Minh.
