More than 300 artifacts on display recreate Hung King culture

(PLVN) - On March 31, 2025 (ie March 3 of the Lunar calendar), at the Hung Vuong Museum, Viet Tri city, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province and the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phuc province jointly organized the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition "Hung Vuong culture in the flow of Red River civilization". This is a prominent cultural activity in the series of activities of the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty - 2025.

Phu Tho and Vinh Phuc provinces are ancient lands, where many indigenous cultural values ​​originated and were preserved since the Hung Kings founded the country and the formation of the Red River civilization. On that basis, Phu Tho Provincial Museum and Vinh Phuc Provincial Museum - Library have selected more than 300 unique, typical and characteristic artifacts from the dawn of national history to display in the special topic.

The artifacts on display are very diverse in materials such as: stone, pottery, bone, horn, bronze; at the same time, they are also very rich with collections of: weapons, tools used in production, jewelry...

In his opening speech, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province Nguyen Dac Thuy said that Hung Vuong culture originated when the Hung Kings founded Van Lang country. Through many ups and downs of history, layers of cultural sediments gradually accumulated and permeated deeply into the cultural life of the community.

Cultural values ​​are vividly present through mystical legends, sacred worship structures such as temples, shrines or appear in beliefs, social customs, traditional festivals... expressed in the life of production and labor, cultural activities, and customs of the people. The thematic exhibition "Hung Vuong Culture in the Flow of Red River Civilization" at Hung Vuong Museum, Viet Tri city is open to visitors continuously from March 24 to April 20, 2025, i.e. February 25 to March 23 of the lunar calendar (including Saturday and Sunday).

On this occasion, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho organized a test screening of the documentary Hung Vuong Era produced with full HD technology, using 3D effects to serve visitors.

The documentary "Hung King Era" has an overview of the Hung King Era from when the Hung Kings founded, built and defended the country.

The documentary 'Hung King Era' consists of 4 chapters, lasting about 22 minutes, with general content about the Hung King era from when the Hung Kings founded, built and defended the country; vividly expressed through legendary stories associated with the Hung King era.
