More than 300 candidates take the second round of investigator recruitment exam in 2025

On September 13, Lam Dong Provincial Police opened the second round of the 2025 intermediate investigator recruitment exam.

The contest was attended by 304 candidates who are officers working in the field of investigation in the provincial police departments and police of communes, wards and special zones in the whole province. The program aims to supplement high-quality human resources for the investigation force, especially at the commune level.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Nam, Head of the Personnel Organization Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police, spoke at the opening ceremony of the exam.

Currently, the number of investigators at the commune level is limited, while work requirements are increasing.

In this exam, about 304 qualified candidates out of 600 initial applications were considered. Many candidates are officers who have participated in combat, have practical experience, ensuring high combat effectiveness.

The Intermediate Investigator exam takes place in 1 day with 2 subjects: Investigation Skills and Law, each subject lasts 120 minutes.

The exam took place safely, seriously and in accordance with regulations.

This exam not only tests theoretical knowledge but also assesses practical skills, including handling investigative situations, criminal law and basic investigative skills of candidates.

"We need qualified, disciplined investigators with the ability to deal with economic , border or tourism crimes, which are specific areas of Lam Dong" - the Council member emphasized.

Candidates are not allowed to bring cell phones and some electronic audio and visual devices into the exam room.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Nam also informed about the plan to organize more exams in 2025-2026 to supplement human resources for commune police and local units.
