On October 31, comrade Nguyen Hong Hai, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, and the working delegation inspected the progress of site clearance for the two expressway projects Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong.

Land clearance work has reached over 94%.

The working group conducted on-site inspections in Hiep Thanh and Phu Hoi communes, where functional units are conducting surveys and assessments. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai encouraged households that have to relocate for the project, and also discussed the surveying, assessment, and compensation process with the village secretary and residents.

Following the on-site inspection, Comrade Nguyen Hong Hai chaired a working session at the Duc Trong Commune People's Committee to hear reports from leaders of communes and wards; relevant departments and units; and the Investment Project Management Boards of the areas on the progress of land clearance and the construction of resettlement areas serving the Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong expressways projects.

During the meeting, representatives from various localities raised several difficulties and obstacles, such as high rates of land parcel changes, discrepancies between actual boundaries and cadastral maps, and complex terrain that hinders surveying and inventory work.

The Provincial Land Development Center has requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to direct the Provincial Land Registration Office to assist in revising the map to ensure the progress of the land survey, committing to completing the survey no later than November 5th.

Expedite the implementation of resettlement areas.

According to reports presented at the meeting, the construction of resettlement areas is facing difficulties due to land acquisition issues, bad weather, and material supply problems. However, local authorities and relevant units are actively coordinating to resolve these issues and intensify construction to ensure progress.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Hai emphasized that the province is under great pressure to disburse 7,500 billion VND for the two expressway projects, therefore it is necessary to implement them synchronously, strictly and flexibly in the spirit of "doing the easy things first, the difficult things later" to accelerate the progress of public investment.

In that spirit, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant agencies to urgently complete the legal documents related to land clearance work, and to post the documents by the beginning of November 2025; while ensuring that the inventory and resettlement process is transparent, impartial, and in accordance with the law.

These are two expressway projects that are urgently needed by the people. The government is giving decisive direction, requiring departments and agencies to act urgently, uphold a high sense of responsibility, and be more proactive in order to achieve concrete results as soon as possible.
