More than 50 livestock farms linked with businesses

With the goal of restructuring the agricultural sector, especially transforming the livestock structure towards improving productivity and quality to increase economic value, in recent times, Cam Lo district has focused on exploiting the potential and advantages of land, labor and mobilizing maximum investment resources for livestock farming.

In particular, focusing on the planning goal of converting production forest land with a slope of less than 10%, linking regions into farm belts outside residential areas to develop livestock and poultry farming to ensure bio-safety.

Up to now, Cam Lo district has more than 50 large and medium-sized farms that have cooperated to develop livestock farming in the form of processing for companies, mainly raising pigs and poultry.

In addition, the district has also attracted 7 high-tech livestock projects from enterprises operating in the field of large-scale livestock farming, of which 3 projects have been granted investment policies.

Linking with businesses in livestock development has brought high economic efficiency to farmers, each farm has an income of 300-500 million VND/year, some farms have an income of more than 1 billion VND/year.
