More than 800 investors "touched and saw" billionaire Tran Dinh Long's property

Hoa Phat Group will welcome more than 800 investors who have registered to visit the Hoa Phat - Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex. Previously, from 9:00 a.m. on February 26, 2024, Hoa Phat Group officially opened the link for investors to register.

On the first day, more than 500 investors registered to participate in the program.

To serve this tour, a huge amount of preparation work was done to ensure safety as well as careful logistics for 3 days. Hoa Phat also advocated designing a program for investors to visit the most places, learn the most about the Hoa Phat - Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex, and witness firsthand the results of their company's investment.

Investors will see firsthand the steel production process at Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex.

In the program to visit Hoa Phat Dung Quat Complex for investors, in addition to the Q&A session with the group's leadership, investors are designed a tour by car to go around the project, through the main points in the closed steel production cycle such as the Iron and Steel Plant, HRC steel production plant, blast furnace area, coking plant, and seaport.

Investors will witness with their own eyes the Dung Quat 1 complex that has been completed and Dung Quat 2 that has taken shape, with machinery lines being urgently installed to be ready for operation in late 2024 and early 2025.

Investors will also have the opportunity to take photos with the largest complex in Southeast Asia and even check in at the QSP Factory with the only hot-rolled steel coil line owned by a Vietnamese enterprise, the second largest specialized deep-water seaport in Vietnam with ships of 200,000 tons.

From the main office's high point, investors will be able to observe the entire project site.

Finally, there will be a direct Q&A with the Group's Board of Directors: Group's Board of Directors, Chief Financial Officer, Board of Directors of Hoa Phat Dung Quat, and technical staff of Hoa Phat Dung Quat.

Steel export ship at the complex

In addition to the above, investors participating in the program will be supported with a shuttle bus from Da Nang /Chu Lai airport to Hoa Phat Dung Quat Industrial Park at a fixed time and 1 night stay at The Harmonia Hotel. Hoa Phat invites these groups to have lunch at The Harmonia Hotel on the day of the program.

Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex has a designed capacity of 6 million tons/year, with a total investment of about VND86,000 billion, including 3 million tons of construction steel, high-quality wire rod steel and 3 million tons of hot-rolled steel coils per year. Dung Quat 1 project was completed synchronously in the first quarter of 2021.

Currently, Hoa Phat is implementing the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Complex project (located next to the Dung Quat 1 project) with a scale of over 280 hectares, with a total investment of VND 85,000 billion. The total design capacity of this project is 5.6 million tons of hot rolled coil steel/year.

According to plan, Dung Quat 2 Oil Refinery project will be completed in the first quarter of 2025. By the end of 2023, the project has completed 45% of the construction progress.

Also at the Conference to announce the Planning and Investment Promotion of Phu Yen province in 2024 held last weekend, Chairman of Hoa Phat Group Tran Dinh Long announced and signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in investing in 3 projects in Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone with a total investment capital of up to 120,000 billion VND.

The projects include: Bai Goc Port; Investment in construction and business of infrastructure of Hoa Tam Industrial Park and Hoa Phat Iron and Steel Complex Project in Hoa Tam Industrial Park.
