Meeting with overseas Vietnamese and relatives on the occasion of Lunar New Year

On the afternoon of January 22, in Phan Rang-Thap Cham city, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province organized a meeting with overseas Vietnamese and their relatives on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Le Van Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province, 60 overseas Vietnamese and relatives.

Ninh Thuan currently has about 4,772 people living abroad. Overseas Vietnamese have always turned to their homeland, participating in humanitarian and charitable activities. In 2024, overseas Vietnamese and their relatives presented 1,850 gifts to people in difficult circumstances, worth 925 million VND; supported more than 30 cases of sudden disasters, worth 500 million VND; built 2 charity houses; and supported natural disaster relief with more than 110 million VND.

Mr. Le Van Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province, presented gifts to overseas Vietnamese and their relatives at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Van Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province, acknowledged the positive contributions of overseas Vietnamese and their relatives in participating in social activities, charity, investment connection, constantly promoting and introducing the image of the homeland and country of Vietnam in general and Ninh Thuan in particular. He suggested that in the coming time, overseas Vietnamese and their relatives continue to promote the strength of solidarity; propagate, promote and introduce the potential, advantages, beauty and people of Ninh Thuan; be willing to share, give advice, contribute efforts and intelligence for the development of the province to become more and more prosperous and civilized.
