On October 31, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh met with Liu Haixing, Head of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

According to a VNA reporter in Beijing, at the meeting, the two sides assessed that under the direction and strategic orientation of the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries, and the joint efforts of the ministries and local branches of the two sides, the traditional friendship of "both comrades and brothers" and political trust between Vietnam and China have been continuously consolidated, enhanced, and deepened, becoming more and more substantial and comprehensive in the direction of "6 more."

Exchanges of delegations at high and all levels in 2025 will take place closely and vibrantly.

The phone call between General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping at the beginning of 2025 created momentum for positive and friendly cooperation for the relationship between the two Parties and two countries throughout the year.

After the successful State visit of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping to Vietnam (April 2025), at the same time, key leaders of the two countries attended major and important events of each country.

Specifically, President Luong Cuong attended the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism of the world people; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit; Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhao Leji paid an official visit to Vietnam, attended the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day, and co-chaired the first meeting of the Vietnam-China Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee with National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man. This is a rare event in the history of international relations in general and Vietnam-China relations in particular, demonstrating mutual support between the two Parties and two countries, creating a new climax in high-level exchanges and contacts.

Bilateral cooperation in the fields of infrastructure connectivity, economics-trade-investment, culture, education, people-to-people exchange... also achieved many breakthroughs.
