Hue offers free night tours of the Imperial City and cannon shooting on April 30

On the occasion of April 30, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center will open some areas of the Imperial Citadel for free at night and organize fireworks at the Flag Tower.

The tour takes place continuously for 6 nights, from April 26 to May 1. Visitors will enter the Imperial City through Hien Nhon Gate to explore Thieu Phuong Garden, Co Ha Garden and the Interior Office, opening hours are from 18:00 to 21:30 daily.

At Thieu Phuong garden, visitors will have the opportunity to admire the orchid exhibition with many rare orchid varieties, and at the same time discover the art of tea tasting through performances, helping to understand more about the beauty of Vietnamese tea culture. Co Ha garden space is reserved for the exhibition of bonsai and ornamental rocks - where works of high artistic and aesthetic value are harmoniously arranged in the ancient garden setting.

At the Interior Palace, the traditional atmosphere is recreated through the display and demonstration of handicrafts from famous craft villages of Hue. In addition, visitors also have the opportunity to participate in experiential activities and enjoy typical cuisine, imbued with the flavor of Hue.

According to the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, visitors to Hien Nhon gate can park their motorbikes in the Doan Thi Diem street area under the direction of security guards; cars can be parked at the Eo Bau Nam Xuong parking lot.

In addition, from April 26, at 7:15 p.m. every Saturday night, at the Hue Flag Tower, there will be a pyrotechnic performance with a cannonball display. In addition, when coming to the ancient capital of Hue during this holiday, visitors will also have the opportunity to visit the "Journey of Vietnamese Ceramics" Exhibition (opening on April 26), one of the highlights of the Summer Festival, within the framework of Hue Festival 2025, at Kien Trung Palace.
