Trinh Thu Vinh's journey at the 2024 Paris Olympics ended after the final round of the women's 25m sport pistol on the afternoon of August 3 at the Chateauroux shooting range (France).
The female shooter born in 2000 could not create a miracle for the Vietnamese sports delegation. She only ranked 7th out of 8 athletes participating in the final round.
Although she has not been able to touch the Olympic medal, Trinh Thu Vinh can be proud of what she has done. She brought many emotions to Vietnamese fans in the recent intense and exciting competitions in shooting.

"Today I tried my best to compete, strictly following the coach's tactics to surpass myself. My rapid fire test result was better than yesterday.
However, because the opponents were too strong, despite my efforts, I could not achieve better results to win a medal," Trinh Thu Vinh shared after finishing 7th in the women's 25m pistol event at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Although she could not win a medal, Trinh Thu Vinh became the female athlete with the best results of Vietnamese shooting at the Olympic arena. The female shooter born in 2000 said that she really regretted not being able to win a medal in two events that were in the finals.
"I would like to apologize and thank the leaders, fans, and the press for supporting and accompanying me during the past time. I hope that in the future I will continue to receive investment and guidance from the coaches to improve my performance.
After the Paris Olympics, I learned a lot to improve myself for future goals. I try to practice better to achieve good results to respond to everyone's expectations and affection," Trinh Thu Vinh shared.
With two finals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Trinh Thu Vinh received a total bonus of 150 million VND.
