In 2024, Thanh Hoa Trade Union has strived to overcome all difficulties and challenges, made breakthroughs and innovations in thinking and methods of organizing emulation movements, and completed and exceeded targets and tasks. Trade unions at all levels have synchronously and effectively implemented patriotic emulation movements, suitable for each unit and type of grassroots trade union, attracting a large number of cadres, union members, and employees to actively respond and participate. Through the movements "Pioneering employees and employees to realize the aspiration of building a civilized and prosperous Thanh Hoa homeland"; "Good workers, creative workers" ... many collectives and individuals have emerged with new models, effective ways of working, with widespread influence, recognized, highly appreciated and rewarded by Party committees, authorities and employers.

The whole province has 9,135 initiatives recognized with a value of 1,520 million VND and 151 works and products recognized with a value of 8,264 million VND.

The work of caring for union members and employees has been implemented promptly, practically and effectively with diverse and innovative care activities. In 2024, trade unions at all levels of agencies, units and enterprises in the province visited and presented gifts to 340,074 union members and employees with a total amount of 318.1 billion VND (an increase of 95.6 billion VND compared to 2023).

Trade unions at all levels have signed new cooperation agreements with 132 partners to implement the program "Welfare for union members and workers", with 605,527 union members and workers enjoying incentives worth 14.52 billion VND...

The work of developing union members, establishing grassroots unions and building strong grassroots unions exceeded the target assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with 143 grassroots unions, including 97 grassroots unions, 46 grassroots trade unions, and developing 38,251 new union members.

The above situation requires trade unions at all levels in the province to closely follow the direction of the Central and the province on caring for workers' welfare; promote extensive propaganda of the policies of the Party, the State, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the province on caring for Tet for union members and workers. Thereby raising awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and the whole society, strongly promoting the tradition of solidarity and humanity of the nation, practically participating in the extensive response to the program "Tet sum vay - Xuan ung dat" in 2025 in the whole province. Trade unions at all levels continue to innovate the activities of the "Tet Sum Vay" program, mobilizing the maximum resources of the whole society to take care of the lives of union members and workers, especially poor workers, those who have accidents, risks, or lost their jobs; encouraging workers to comply with labor discipline, strive to improve their qualifications and professional skills, actively compete in "Good workers, creative workers", work with high productivity and quality, contribute their intelligence and labor to the development of localities, units, and enterprises.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Lai The Nguyen requested all levels, sectors, the Fatherland Front and organizations in the province to pay attention to directing, coordinating, accompanying and creating favorable conditions for trade unions at all levels to organize activities to care for the welfare of workers.
