Bau Bang District trains on safe electricity use and energy saving

(BDO) On the morning of June 3, Bau Bang Power Company coordinated with the Southern Electricity Association, People's Committees of communes and towns in the district to organize a training course on safe and economical electricity use in 2025. The program attracted nearly 100 officials working at socio-political organizations, departments, branches and localities of the district.

At the training course, Master Le Kim Huy, Lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City College of Electricity, deployed a number of contents on effectively implementing Directive No. 20/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on enhancing electricity saving in the period of 2023 - 2025 and the following years; at the same time, shared knowledge and ways to use electricity safely.

Master Le Kim Huy, Lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City College of Electricity, deployed the contents at the training session.

Mr. Huynh Truong Binh, Deputy Director of Bau Bang Power Company, spoke at the program.

The program is built on the document "Handbook for safe and economical electricity use" compiled by the Southern Electricity Association. With knowledge on choosing energy-saving equipment, changing habits of using electricity reasonably, taking advantage of renewable energy sources such as solar power and minimizing electricity use during peak hours.

At the training class, the lecturer spent time exchanging and discussing directly to help the trainees better grasp the knowledge of optimizing energy use in life and flexibly applying the knowledge in practice.

Nearly 100 officers attended the training course

The training course has contributed to training core propagandists, spreading knowledge and skills on safe and economical use of electricity at agencies, units and residences; helping to form habits of economical use of electricity, improving knowledge on safe use of electricity.
