Thu Dau Mot City: Exciting cooking contest "Warm and loving family meal"

(BDO) On June 6, Thu Dau Mot City organized a cooking contest to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day (June 28) in 2025 with the theme "Warm and loving family meals". Attending were Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee.

The contest had the participation of 20 families from the city’s party and mass organizations; city agencies and 14 families from the ward in the area. Each participating family prepared, processed, decorated nutritious and quality dishes and presented a family meal for 10 people.

As a result, in each block, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and the rest were consolation prizes. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 3 movement prizes to families with the most beautiful and unique uniforms.

The contest is an opportunity for cultural families to meet, exchange, learn, share experiences, knowledge and skills on building happy families; further enhance the sense of responsibility of the whole society towards the family, join hands to build Vietnamese families that are truly healthy cells, a place to educate and form new people who are useful to society, contributing to preserving the traditional values ​​of Vietnamese families.
