Implementing the Plan " Restructuring the agricultural sector towards increasing added value and sustainable development by 2025, with a vision to 2030", Ea Sar commune has focused on developing fruit trees, of which, lychee trees alone have over 400 hectares and over 320 hectares have been harvested, with an expected output of about 5,000 tons.

For lychee trees to develop sustainably, the Commune People's Committee has directed the implementation of propaganda and mobilization work for farmers to switch to suitable crops; coordinated training, technology transfer, and construction of seedling gardens; provided guidance on growing lychees according to VietGAP standards; built and maintained 4 lychee growing area codes with an area of 47 hectares; organized conferences on linkage and product consumption.

The Commune People's Committee also deployed cooperatives, cooperative groups, and traders in the area to connect with traders at wholesale markets in Ho Chi Minh City and some provinces such as Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Da Nang and the Northern provinces to consume and export fresh lychees.
The Commune People's Committee is preparing documents and procedures to request all levels to appraise and recognize Ea Sar lychee products as meeting OCOP standards.
