Ea Kar District Police said that in order to ensure traffic safety and order and minimize waterway traffic accidents, since the beginning of 2023, the unit has strengthened propaganda work and signed commitments to comply with the provisions of the law on inland waterway traffic safety and order for owners of waterway vehicles and crew members in the district.
Accordingly, the Traffic Police - Order Team of Ea Kar District Police coordinated with the interdisciplinary delegation of the District People's Committee to inspect and propagate the work of ensuring order and safety of waterway traffic at a number of units: Doan Ket Sand Mining Company Limited (Ea O Commune); MJ Construction Investment and Service Company Limited (Cu Yang Commune); Song Hong International Joint Stock Company (Ea So Commune).

Along with checking the conditions of watercraft and boat drivers... the officers of the Traffic Police - Order Team also disseminated the main contents of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic; vehicle registration and inspection; regulations on vehicle drivers having professional certificates, not using alcohol while driving and not carrying more than the permitted load; causes and consequences of traffic accidents related to passenger and cargo vehicles by watercraft.
After being informed, vehicle owners signed a commitment to strictly comply with relevant legal regulations.
