Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee: Implementing key tasks for the second quarter.

On April 2nd, the Standing Committee of the Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee held its 20th expanded meeting of the Executive Committee to assess the performance of tasks in the first quarter and to implement key tasks for the second quarter of 2024. The meeting also included a review of Resolution No. 33 NQ/TW, dated June 9, 2014, of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (11th term) on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development.

In the first quarter of 2024, the Party Committee and government at all levels, from the district to the grassroots, focused on decisive leadership and direction with many solutions implemented from the beginning of the year. Along with the efforts and proactive spirit of all levels, sectors, people, organizations, and businesses, positive changes were achieved in many areas. The total value of production reached VND 3,613.19 billion, an increase of 8.68% compared to the same period in 2023. The 2023-2024 Winter-Spring crop production covered an area of 8,095 hectares of annual crops; the replication of effective agricultural production models linked to product consumption was promoted. Local budget revenue reached VND 29 billion, an increase of 11.5% compared to the same period. Social welfare policies and food safety were effectively implemented. Emphasis was placed on Party building and strengthening the political system. To promptly and concretely implement directives, regulations, conclusions, and resolutions from higher authorities.

In the second quarter of 2024, the Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee directed the effective organization of propaganda activities and commemorations of major national and local holidays in 2024. It continued to effectively implement the 2024 thematic program "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style on patriotic emulation, determined to successfully achieve the goals of the 14th Provincial Party Congress Resolution"; strengthened Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely prevented, repelled, and strictly dealt with cadres and Party members who have degenerated in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle, and who exhibit "self-evolution" and "self-transformation". It also implemented the 2024 Summer-Autumn crop production plan in conjunction with drought prevention and control; and effectively implemented measures to prevent and control diseases in crops, livestock, and aquatic products.

According to the Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee's report, over the past 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33 NQ/TW in practice, the Party committees, government, and political and social organizations have propagated and mobilized cadres, Party members, and all strata of the people to unite in implementing the policy of building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development. They have promoted Vietnamese cultural values, focusing on developing the traditional cultures of the Cham and Raglai ethnic groups. The quality of cultural activities has improved, and cultural institutions have received investment from both budget and social sources. In the coming period, the Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee will continue to disseminate and raise awareness among Party committees, government agencies, the Fatherland Front, mass organizations, cadres, Party members, and all strata of the people regarding Resolution No. 33 NQ/TW. They will mobilize the strength of the entire society to build and develop Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development. Actively contribute to building and developing the socio -economic sector and ensuring national defense and security in the district.
