During the meeting, Minju expressed her gratitude for becoming a member of ILLIT. She said, "I've been grateful every day since becoming a member of the group and being a trainee for a long time. I want to show you the best of me."
“We were eagerly preparing for today. I am so happy and excited to finally debut. We will work hard to show you even better things in the future,” said Iroha.
Wonhee said, “I am so grateful to be able to debut here with the members. We will always show a new and vibrant side of ILLIT.”
Moka also shared her excitement, "I've been eagerly waiting for today with a fluttering heart after working hard. I'm really happy to be able to share the voices of the 5 members. We will work hard to bring the positive power of ILLIT in the future."
Yunah expressed, "I have loved dancing and singing since I was young. I am happy to stand on stage as a member of ILLIT. We will work hard in the future as ILLIT."
ILLIT is the third girl group formed by HYBE, after LE SSERAFIM and NewJeans.
Yoona, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha were selected as members through the JTBC program 'RU NEXT?' (RU NEXT?) which aired for three months starting last June.
The debut mini album "SUPER REAL ME" encapsulates the story of girls immersed in the moment through four songs. The album was released at 6 p.m. on March 25.
