End of 10th grade high school entrance exam

On the morning of June 6, candidates taking the entrance exam to Lao Cai Specialized High School finished their specialized exams, concluding the entrance exam to grade 10 of the 2025-2026 school year in the province.

Candidates took the final specialized subject exams on the morning of June 6 at Lao Cai Specialized High School.

Accordingly, this morning, candidates took the specialized exams in History, Geography, Information Technology and the speaking exam in Foreign Language (the written exam in Foreign Language was conducted from the afternoon of June 5).

After finishing the final specialized subject exam, many teachers and candidates commented that this year's exam was good, with advanced knowledge, high differentiation, and suitable for the characteristics of admission to specialized schools in the province.

The candidate was happy to have completed the exam.

Just coming back from the exam room, Nguyen Phuong Ngan, who took the entrance exam for grade 10 Geography major at Lao Cai High School for the Gifted, shared: The exam was quite difficult, especially in the questions analyzing and evaluating the socio -economic situation. However, I focused on doing the test to achieve good results.

In total, in the 2 specialized subject exams, there were 609 candidates participating in 10 specialized subjects at Lao Cai Specialized High School, 1 candidate absent compared to the initial registration.

This is the first year the exam is organized according to the new 2018 generaleducation program, so candidates cannot help but feel anxious. However, with the active guidance of teachers, candidates basically completed the exams well.

Candidates and teachers took the opportunity to correct the questions right after the exam.

Dang Thuy Chi, who took the exam for the History class at Lao Cai High School for the Gifted, said: The exam was within my ability, and there were some difficult questions, but they were only a small part. I did quite well on the exam.

After a year of hard studying and stressful exam days, what all candidates are feeling now is comfort, less pressure and anxiety because they have completed the exam. Nguyen Phuong Oanh, taking the exam for the Geography specialized class at Lao Cai Specialized High School, said: I tried my best for the exam and was quite satisfied with my performance. Currently, I feel very comfortable because I have completed the exam and started the summer vacation.

During the 4 days of the exam (June 3-6), at 38 examination councils and 500 examination rooms across the province, preparations for the exam, ensuring security and safety for the exam and fairness for all candidates were carried out well.

Schools enthusiastically carry out the activity "Supporting exam season".

Schools also organized the "Exam Support" activity at all exam locations to help ensure order, safety and provide useful support for candidates and parents during the alternating rainy and sunny weather.

Thus, up to this point, candidates have completed the entrance exam for grade 10 of high school for the 2025-2026 school year, for both non-specialized and specialized programs.

In the coming time, the Department of Education and Training will organize the exam marking. It is expected that the entrance exam scores for grade 10 high school will be announced on June 13.
