Domestic tourists to Quang Nam on April 30 holiday increased dramatically

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the total number of visitors and tourists from April 30 to May 1 is estimated at 131,000 (up 41% over the same period in 2024). Of which, international visitors are estimated at 58,000 (up 11%); in particular, the number of domestic visitors is estimated at 73,000 (up 93%).

This was predicted when the April 30 - May 1 holiday lasted 5 days for civil servants, public employees, and workers in the State sector.

Before the holiday, some platforms also recorded Hoi An as being in the top 10 domestic destinations most searched for by domestic tourists.

Some destinations attracting a large number of domestic tourists in Quang Nam this time include: Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Temple Complex, Cu Lao Cham, Vinwonders Nam Hoi An, Dong Giang Heaven Gate Eco-tourism Area...

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that during this holiday, the room occupancy rate of 3-5 star hotels in the province reached over 90%, and 1-2 star hotels reached about 60-65%. In particular, the number of domestic tourists staying increased sharply on April 30.
