Hanoi hotels simultaneously launch attractive promotions to attract customers.

In order to attract domestic tourists to Hanoi, especially during the autumn and summer of 2024 and to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10th), the Hanoi Department of Tourism has coordinated with the hotel system in Hanoi to implement the stimulus program "Hanoi residents and tourists experience services at 4-5 star hotels in Hanoi".
In response to the tourism stimulus program aimed at attracting visitors, 4-5 star hotels in Hanoi have introduced various preferential policies and service packages to boost tourism.

At the meeting, representatives from JW Marriott hotels stated that, leveraging their strength in green spaces and in response to the stimulus program, JW Marriott has developed vacation packages for families in the city. Families staying at JW Marriott can relax, enjoy the swimming pool and spa for parents, and have access to a children's play area. The hotel has also designed many traditional and modern games for guests to experience and explore Vietnamese culture.

Similarly, the Grand Vista Hotel announced that it is prioritizing short-term combo packages because Hanoi residents often prefer weekend getaways and short stays, usually just one night. In response to the stimulus program, hotels such as Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, Fortuna, Novotel Hanoi, Glory Resort, Movenpick, Lotte, A25, and Grand Mercure are also sharing many attractive products and services at reasonable prices.

Reflecting on the difficulties in implementing the program, the hotels shared a common opinion: how to communicate the product packages to Hanoi residents and Vietnamese tourists, because in the minds of many people, the prices of 5-star hotels are quite expensive.

Therefore, we hope that the Hanoi Department of Tourism will act as a central point of contact connecting hotels with destinations and travel agencies to develop short-day tours that include accommodation, culinary experiences, Hanoi city tours, night tours, etc., at reasonable prices.

This is a way to guide tourists to experience and explore Hanoi, while also increasing the length of stay for both domestic and international visitors in the capital. When there is a good product and a good pricing policy, an attractive communication program is needed to reach customers.

In response to the hotels' suggestions, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism Nguyen Hong Minh affirmed that, in order to bring high effectiveness to the program, the Hanoi Department of Tourism will cooperate and connect with hotels, the Hanoi Tourism Corporation, press agencies, and media units to implement the communication campaign starting from July 1st.

We propose that 4-5 star hotels participate in a solidarity tourism promotion program, avoiding price competition, and developing unique, high-quality products and services tailored to different customer segments. Additionally, they should collaborate with the Hanoi Tourism Corporation to create attractive package tours and cooperate with the Hanoi Department of Tourism in a joint communication campaign.

“The program ‘Hanoi residents and tourists experience services at Hanoi’s 4-5 star hotels’ in 2024 is one of the activities within the overall program to stimulate domestic tourism and promote the image of Hanoi as a destination in 2024 by the Hanoi Department of Tourism. This contributes to strengthening the promotion of the image and brand of hotels and resorts, while increasing the occupancy rate at 4-5 star hotels in the capital city,” Mr. Minh affirmed.
