Many tourists come to experience making charcoal from coffee grounds. |
During the program, Diversey experts showed how to make charcoal from coffee grounds. Many visitors were very excited about the experience of making charcoal from coffee grounds; they learned more about recycling seemingly discarded products, contributing to protecting the living environment.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Giang - Senior Manager of Diversey in Vietnam, using coffee grounds to create charcoal is a way to recycle industrial by-products into an environmentally friendly product. Compressed bars from coffee grounds can replace common fuels such as coal, firewood, and gas. When compressed into block-shaped bars, coffee grounds can be used as fuel, with a better burning rate than charcoal, significantly reducing the amount of ash burned compared to traditional coal.
