The council evaluated the use and storage of electronic medical records; storage and transmission of medical images instead of printing films; storage of test information instead of printing paper. This appraisal aims to deploy electronic medical records to completely replace paper medical records at Dien Khanh Medical Center.

After listening to the report on the hospital management information system, the Council inspected the departments and rooms to assess whether the electronic medical records had all the required contents. The inspection showed that the PACS image storage and transmission software system ensured good two-way data communication; the server room was relatively spacious; all staff with functions were provided with digital signatures; Dien Khanh Medical Center had information trees so that patients could look up for themselves... The Council requested Dien Khanh Medical Center to continue to complete the regulations and rules more fully and in detail; upgrade and supplement software and information technology infrastructure; have close coordination and connection with Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Insurance in the process of implementing electronic medical records.
