The taxi driver in the clip, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Toan (32 years old, living in Hanoi ), said the incident happened a few days ago, on a trip he was driving.

Accordingly, he accepted to take two foreign passengers from the hotel to the museum, a distance of about 3 km. When arriving, the watch was priced at 40,000 VND.

However, one of the two guests, not familiar with Vietnamese currency, gave a 500,000 VND bill and tried to open the door to leave.

At this time, Mr. Toan quickly grabbed the two customers and explained in English: "It's not 400,000 but 40,000 VND." After a while, the two customers understood and gave them back the correct denomination of money.

After that, Mr. Toan patiently explained the different denominations of money so that the two guests would not be confused again. Mr. Toan's actions made the two tourists grateful and happily leave.

"I have been in this profession for 10 years and often encounter similar situations. Tourists do not know and often give the wrong denomination of money. Personally, I think being honest like this is normal and should be done. Every time I see customers thanking me profusely, I feel very happy," said Toan.

According to Mr. Toan, currently there are many unlicensed drivers who overcharge and overcharge, causing a negative impression in the eyes of tourists . That further urges and reminds him to always be friendly and honest with customers to improve the image of Vietnamese people in the eyes of foreign tourists.

He himself often reminds tourists to only take official taxis and never get in a car without knowing the identity.

The male driver shared that he had to work 12 hours a day. To stick with the job for a decade, Mr. Toan said that in addition to being honest, a driver needs to be persistent, patient, and able to withstand high pressure.

"Working in this profession, I get to meet many people, have many happy and sad memories. The most important thing is that I have to know how to endure, let go and do my job well," the young man confided.

The clip has attracted nearly half a million views and tens of thousands of interactions. Many people were surprised by Toan's reaction and gave him many compliments.

AD account commented: "I highly commend the driver's actions! If the two passengers had been unlucky enough to encounter bad people, they might have lost the 500,000 VND bill without even knowing it."

LK account expressed: "I really admire the driver. If the driver took that 500,000 VND note, tourists at that time might not know, but when they get home they will discover it. Thanks to people like the driver, Vietnam tourism can develop."
