On October 29th, the stock market continued its recovery, opening in positive territory and closing with the VN-Index up 5.33 points to 1,685.83 points. Liquidity on the HoSE remained relatively low, reaching only 25,749 billion VND, almost unchanged for about a week.
The market was positively impacted by the upward momentum of several stocks in the banking sector (HDB, LPB, VPB,SHB ), steel (HPG), and real estate (NLG, KDH)... In particular, HDB (HDBank) contributed nearly 2 points to the index's rise.

Today's trading session also saw 17 stocks on the HoSE simultaneously hit their upper limit. Some notable stocks in the real estate and construction sectors include LDG, KHG, DRH, VPH, CTD, and HAR. In addition, shares of the two former Gia Lai giants, HAG (Hoang Anh Gia Lai) and DLG (Duc Long Gia Lai), also increased to their maximum limit.
BSR (Binh Son Refinery and Petrochemical) shares also hit the ceiling price on the ex-dividend date for the company's issuance of bonus shares at a ratio of 31.5% and dividend payment in shares at a ratio of 30%.
Foreign investors sold a net of nearly 1.5 trillion VND today, with stocks like ACB, MBB, VIX, and SSI experiencing heavy selling pressure.
