In the stock trading session on October 29, the market continued to recover when it opened in green and ended with the VN-Index up 5.33 points, reaching 1,685.83 points. Liquidity on the HoSE floor was still quite cautious, reaching only VND 25,749 billion, almost flat in the past week.
The market was positively impacted by the increase of some banking stocks (HDB, LPB, VPB,SHB ), steel (HPG), real estate (NLG, KDH)... In which, HDB (HDBank) contributed nearly 2 points to the index's increase.

Today's trading session also recorded 17 stocks on HoSE simultaneously hitting the ceiling. Some notable codes in the real estate and construction industry are LDG, KHG, DRH, VPH, CTD, HAR. Along with that, the stocks of the two old Gia Lai giants, HAG (Hoang Anh Gia Lai) and DLG (Duc Long Gia Lai), also increased to the maximum limit.
BSR (Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical) shares also hit the ceiling on the ex-dividend trading day so that the company could issue bonus shares at a rate of 31.5% and pay dividends in shares at a rate of 30%.
